A LONG TIME COMING! SO yeah, really I've been wanting to flesh out this painting forever... I doodled it while I was at work one day after listening to Link to the Past music (of course!). I put off turning this into a sketch for the longest time, finally I figured I'd put it on (digital paper) but I kinda stopped after I gave it a flat color. I had in mind what I wanted to do but I never went further. THEN the random inspiration hit at 11:00pm and I went for it. I was so happy how the bg turned out I said I wasn't going to stop till it was finished. So, safe to say, even if I wind up revisiting some parts when I wake up and realize what I can fix, I'm freakin' happy it's done!

Concept is mainly based around the Link to the Past ending with my own interpretation.

NOTHING MORE TO TL;DR ABOUT >_<

Done with CS6 and lot's of Zelda music (and one really burning eye).

oh wow...the more i look at it the more i like it! i don;t know how, but you really made those unblended brush edges really work well. i love the simplicity of it, and the piece has a really great atmosphere.
